The 4 km buffer between the two Koreas. Tour-only access for the Joint Security Area, Third Infiltration Tunnel, and Dora Observatory. Bring your passport and dress smart-casual; jeans and slippers can be turned away. Imjingak peace park, just outside the restricted zone, is open without a tour and has the iconic Freedom Bridge.

Transport Tour required (full DMZ + JSA). Imjingak peace park alone is reachable by Gyeongui-Jungang Line.
