Korean shoe sizes are written as the foot length the shoe fits. 240 mm means a shoe for a 24.0 cm foot. So a Korean label that reads "240" is roughly EU 37.5 / US 7 / UK 4.5 in women's.
Most Korean shoe stores stock in 5 mm increments (230, 235, 240, …). If you usually wear a half size, expect to size up to the next whole 5 mm, or try the international half-size at brands that import full ranges (Nike, Adidas, On).
Korean shoe fitters often build a slightly narrower last than European or American shoes. If your feet are wide, take a half size up. Olive Young, ABC-Mart, and the big brand flagships all let you try before you buy.
Korean-domestic brands (Suecomma Bonnie, Genuinity, Mardi Mercredi) tend to run true to mm. K-pop sneaker drops (Stockx-style boutiques in Seongsu) come in international sizes. Read the label carefully before buying.
Korean shoe sizes are the foot length in millimetres. Measure your foot from heel to longest toe. A 24 cm foot is Korean size 240. EU 38 women's is ~245 mm, EU 42 men's is ~265 mm.
EU 35 women's = Korean 220 mm. EU 38 = 245 mm. EU 41 = 260 mm. EU 44 men's = 275 mm. Use the tables above for precise conversion.
US women's 6 = Korean 230 mm. US women's 8 = 250 mm. US men's 8 = 260 mm. US men's 10 = 280 mm. Round up if you fall between sizes; Korean stores rarely stock half sizes.
Korean lasts often run a touch narrower than European lasts, especially in domestic-brand dress shoes. For wide feet, size up half a size or try imported brands (Adidas, Nike, On, Hoka).
