Why Korea
Korea trains the world in cosmetic dermatology and refractive surgery. The standards visitors come for are the standards locals expect.
Every clinic in HealSeoul's network has full English coordination: pre-consult, in-room, follow-up. No language friction.
Equivalent care runs 5 to 10 times the price in the US or EU. The flight pays for itself before the second appointment.
How it works
Tell us what you're considering. 24-hour reply, English.
We pair you with the right clinic and book your consult.
Show up. Coordinator meets you. Treatment proceeds in English.
Follow-ups continue remotely once you fly home. We stay on it.
Before you book
Korea has been a national-priority medical tourism destination since 2009 and licenses clinics that treat foreign patients under the Ministry of Health and Welfare. HealSeoul only routes inquiries to clinics that carry English-capable coordinators, written treatment plans, and clear aftercare protocols. We do not work with anyone who cannot show those three things on a tour of the facility.
You pay the clinic directly, in Korean won, at the price they quote during consult. HealSeoul does not mark up the clinic price. Typical visitor savings versus equivalent US or EU care run 5 to 10 times, but the real number depends on the procedure and your home market. We share a written quote before you fly.
For most procedures, the standard short-term tourism visa or K-ETA is enough since you arrive as a visitor receiving treatment. For longer multi-stage treatments, Korea offers a dedicated medical-tourist visa (C-3-3) that we can help document. If you are already visa-exempt, you usually do not need anything new.
Every clinic we send you to runs aftercare. We stay on the case after you fly home: messaging the clinic on your behalf in Korean, getting your records translated to English, escalating if a complication appears. We are not a clinic, so we cannot do clinical work ourselves, but we keep the channel open until you and the clinic both agree you are done.
Most US and EU private plans do not cover elective treatment overseas. Some HSA / FSA accounts and a small number of international policies will reimburse documented medical expenses. We provide itemised English receipts and medical reports so you can file. Always check your specific plan before you book.
Skin and vision can usually be booked within 2 weeks of arrival. Dental work with implants or veneers benefits from 3 to 6 weeks lead time so the clinic can plan multi-visit treatment around your stay. Comprehensive checkups need at least 1 week so we can secure a slot and pre-arrange fasting protocols.
