Studios worth knowing.
1MILLION Dance Studio
The most foreigner-friendly studio in Seoul. Drop-in classes daily, English-friendly instructors, mixed-level. Walk-up registration possible but popular slots sell out, so book ahead via the studio site or Klook.
Just Jerk Dance Academy
Performance-oriented crew vibe. Less beginner-handhold-y than 1MILLION; visitors comfortable with intermediate choreo do best. English instruction varies by teacher.
YGX (YG Entertainment training arm)
YG-affiliated, trainee-style intensity. Drop-in classes when scheduled; not always open to public. Check the YGX site/IG before going.
DEFINE Dance Studio
Boutique feel. Slower pace per move which suits foreigners who want technique, not just choreo-completion. Korean-language instruction with English on request.
CUBE / YYXY public classes (when offered)
These are bookable as part of Klook K-pop dance experience tours, not via the agencies directly. Useful for travelers who want one-and-done without studio research.
Easiest path: Klook.

- Indoor sneakers. Studios are no-outdoor-shoes. Bring a pair you can swap into, or dance in socks (most foreigners do that anyway).
- Workout clothes. Lots of mirror-cardio dynamics. T-shirt and shorts or leggings. Some studios have changing rooms; some are tight on space.
- Water and sweat towel. Korean studios run hot during summer. Convenience stores are nearby.
- Get there 15 minutes early. Doors close 5 minutes before start at major studios. Late arrival means no class.
- Don't film other dancers. The teacher's MV-style filming at the end of class is fine. Random phone videos of fellow students is not.
- Mixed-level is normal. Korean students, foreign visitors, and trainees in the same room. Choreography is taught at the level that suits the song.
