Discover the stunning nature of volcanic Jeju-do

Geomunoreum, a parasitic cone standing 456 meters high with a circumference of 4,551 meters, is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Natural Site. Parasitic cones are smaller volcanoes that form adjacent to larger ones.

Geomunoreum gets its name from its dark appearance, attributed to the dense forest covering the cone. Visitor access is limited to 450 people per day, requiring reservations.

The site offers three trails, with durations ranging from about 1 hour to 3 hour 30 minutes.

Camellia Hill is the largest botanical garden for camellias in East Asia, housing over 6,000 camellia trees from 500 different species. Named for its resemblance to the profile of a dragon's head diving into the sea, Yongmeori Beach is strikingly unique. The beach is characterized by a 600-meter-long, 20-meter-high tuff stratum formed 1.8 million years ago.
