Stretching 2 km in length and 100 m in width, Songjiho Beach is a must-visit destination in Goseong-gun, renowned for its pristine waters and shallow depth, which make it a popular summer getaway that attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors annually. Just 500 m north of the beach lies Songjiho Lake, a natural lagoon with a circumference of 4 km.

Located between 38 Beach and Bukbun-ri Beach in Yangyang, this hidden gem offers a serene escape, far from the crowds of more popular beaches in Gangwon-do. Its tranquil shores are ideal for a leisurely stroll.
Nestled among the black pine trees, the beach features a campsite with tent areas and spaces for camper vans, making it a favorite summer retreat for families. In recent years, it has also become increasingly popular among surfers.

There are vibrant orange-painted walls and numerous photo spots scattered around, with a recommended spot being the drum barrel marked with "JAN beach" in English.
4 Jungdongjin Sun Cruise Resort
Jeongdongjin is one of the most famous sunrise spots in South Korea. The coastal cliffs of Jeongdongjin are home to a cruise ship, sparking curiosity.
The Sun Cruise Resort, a luxury resort transformed from a 30,000-ton cruise ship custom-made at a shipyard, is 165 m long and 45 m high. It offers a range of amenities, including rooms, infinity pools, a private beach, and restaurants.
The beach, where the Sun Cruise Resort is visible, was also the filming location for RIIZE's first reality show, BOSS RIIZE, where fun missions took place.

5 Okgyehaebyeon Beach MV filming location
This beach, with its clean and wide 2.5 km long white sand shore, is located in Okgye-myeon, at the southernmost tip of Gangneung. The coastal dunes offer a stunning view, with rugosa roses blooming along the beach.
The refreshing blue waters and relatively warm water temperatures make it an ideal spot for summer water activities. In addition, a dense pine forest provides a perfect setting for visitors to set up tents and enjoy camping surrounded by the pine trees.
- 104-32 Geumjinsolbat-gil, Okgye-myeon, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do
Try capturing the scene of seagulls soaring over the sea, just like in the music video. Bring some shrimp chips, and you'll likely attract the seagulls, as they naturally flock around you.
6 Chuamhaebyeon Beach
Chuamhaebyeon Beach, home to the iconic Chotdaebawi Rock, which is one of the most famous sunrise spots in South Korea, draws visitors year-round to the East Sea. The rock's unique shape, with the sun hanging on its jagged peak, resembles a candle flame, which is how it earned its name, "chotdae" (meaning a candle stick).
Towering toward the sky, Chotdaebawi Rock blends harmoniously with the surrounding rock formations, creating a breathtaking view. A 72 m long suspension bridge near the rock stretches across the sea, offering a unique experience as if walking above the water.
The beach was also featured in aespa's reality show aespa's Synk Road.
